About the Artist

Rebecca is a self- taught artist specializing in realistic drawings. She works in both coloured pencils and graphite pencils to produce life-like artwork. As a teenager Rebecca loved doodling which became a hobby of hers. Not long after discovering her passion for drawing she was fascinated with the challenge of realistic art. She never felt the need to be taught art because it was hobby of hers. However, after receiving many request as a young teenager she decided to sell her work.

 

The young artist sold over 10 pieces of art during high school to her schoolmates. Rebecca now takes on larger projects and pushes her limits by creating surreal concepts. She enjoys replicating the images from her mind more vividly, to express her thoughts on current world issues. In her strive to integrate hyperrealism with surrealism she hopes to capture her viewers’ attention with stories that raises their awareness.
